From academy instruction to advanced in-service training, this Division ensures personnel remain proficient in modern policing strategies, tactical response, de-escalation techniques, and evolving legal standards. Field Training Officers (FTOs) mentor and evaluate new recruits, reinforcing professionalism, discipline, and operational readiness within the department.

    Division of Criminal Investigations
    The Division of Criminal Investigations manages complex and long-term cases that extend beyond routine patrol responsibilities. Detectives assigned to this Division focus on major felonies, violent crimes, organized criminal activity, and intelligence-driven investigations. Through thorough casework and strategic enforcement initiatives, this Division works to reduce crime and hold offenders accountable throughout Los Santos.
