San Andreas State Patrol

The San Andreas State Patrol serves as the primary statewide law enforcement agency, responsible for maintaining public safety across the Commonwealth of San Andreas. SASP Troopers have primary jurisdiction over all state highways, interstates, and state property, while also supporting local and municipal agencies through mutual aid and coordinated enforcement efforts. Their responsibilities include traffic enforcement, collision investigation, criminal interdiction, dignitary protection, and statewide emergency response operations.

Division of Training & Professional Development
The Division of Training & Professional Development is responsible for preparing and refining the capabilities of every Trooper. From academy instruction to advanced in-service training, this Division ensures personnel remain proficient in modern enforcement techniques, tactical operations, and evolving legal standards. Field Training Officers (FTOs) guide new Troopers through structured mentorship programs, reinforcing discipline, professionalism, and operational readiness.

Division of Criminal Investigations
The Division of Criminal Investigations handles complex cases that extend beyond routine patrol operations. Detectives within this Division focus on organized crime, major felonies, interdiction efforts, and intelligence-driven enforcement initiatives. By maintaining a proactive investigative posture, this Division plays a critical role in disrupting criminal activity that impacts communities across San Andreas.

Division of Field Operations
The Division of Field Operations represents the backbone of the San Andreas State Patrol. Troopers assigned to this Division conduct highway patrol, rural enforcement, emergency response, and public safety operations across state property and interstates. Equipped with advanced tools and specialized units, including K9 teams and aviation or drone support when necessary, Field Operations ensures rapid and effective response statewide.

Division of Professional Standards
Integrity remains the foundation of the San Andreas State Patrol. The Division of Professional Standards oversees internal investigations, policy compliance, and ethical standards within the agency. This Division ensures transparency, maintains public trust, and holds all personnel accountable to the highest standards of conduct and professionalism.
